Privacy policy

SeshTime is a private journal for adults who use cannabis, recreationally or medically. This page says, in plain language, what the app does with information. It is a draft and still needs review by a lawyer before you rely on it.

No account, and no tracking

There is no SeshTime account. The app does not show ads. It does not include analytics or other tracking. The website does not set tracking cookies and does not load third-party scripts.

Where your journal lives

Session notes stay on your iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch, and in your own iCloud. Sync uses CloudKit’s private database. That database belongs to your Apple Account. The developer cannot read it.

What you can log

A session can include a method, a product, a dose, effects, and a rating, plus notes you add. You decide what to write. SeshTime does not require a product catalog account, and it does not sell cannabis.

Apple Health

Health access is optional. If you allow it, SeshTime can read sleep and heart data, and it can write mindful minutes. You can refuse Health access and keep using the journal. Health data is handled on device and through the permissions you set in iOS.

Camera and package labels

The camera is used to scan packages. Label reading runs on your device. The built-in path uses Apple’s on-device model. An optional model can be downloaded from Apple-hosted servers onto your device. Photos are not uploaded to SeshTime.

A product page you paste

If you paste a product page, the app fetches that page once, from your device, so it can help fill in the product. SeshTime does not operate a product store and does not keep a server-side copy of that page.

On-device summaries

Journal summaries and label reading run on the device. They are not sent to a SeshTime model in the cloud.

NFC tags

A tag opens the app through a link on this website. The website does not display the tag identifier and does not keep a database of tags. Until a later resolver exists, a machine asking for tag data receives an unknown response. People opening the link see a short fallback page.

This website

seshtime.io is a static site on Cloudflare. It does not use Cloudflare Web Analytics, Zaraz, or other trackers. Universal Link files are public so Apple and your phone can open the app. They do not identify you.
